assalamualaikum,

hello there world! yess, i am a great fan of anwar hadi. he's cool, man. check out all of his videos on youtube. i mean, now! i envy him, really. he's studying tesol somewhere in aussie, and we share almost the same field of studies. well, tesol and tesl are classified under one particular category right? but, i can never be as confident as he is. poor me.

let's get this entry started. here is this woman i know. she is an angel, but she doesn't wear any wings.
her smile makes me want to sing. she has changed my whole world.

my dearest mom. she's an angel in disguise. i love her to bits. oh, bonus question for all of you - do we look alike?

what? no? ouch you make me sad. hmm. till we meet again, bye bye!

happy ayah's day

written whole-heartedly by: nabila

assalamualaikum,

there aren't expressions enough to portray how much i love my father - how significant he is in everything i do. all through my growing up years, and now as a young adult. my father has my heart, a treasure i wish all girls could have . a girl "needs" a father figure in her life - and i've always had the very best. i mean, think about it - my dad is an extraordinarily strong guy (aside from his muscles) he's the father of 5 kids. oh yes 5. and i am the only daughter (proud).

thank you Allah for my father - a man i look up to, the person i learn so much from. my greatest hero. i love you ayah, very very much! till we meet again, bye bye!

up high

written whole-heartedly by: nabila

assalamualaikum,

yesterday in the brisk cold i went on the swings by my house. for a few moments as i closed my eyes i felt like nothing could go wrong. as i pumped my legs and went higher into the night sky, it seemed like maybe the "plan" was on my side, but in the end there are no sides. nothing ever really goes as planned and as i'm finally learning. maybe that isn't such a bad thing. or maybe i was making it hard. i realized it then, for everything we are chasing for, there is still something we can't grab.

till we meet again, bye bye!
